A Cappella's Carisma

Carisma was born April 15, 1998 bred by Andy and Kathy Wen of Cat Springs, TX. Andy and Kathy brought Carisma to Robin Ratliff for breaking and training in 2000. Robin knew early on that Carisma was special. In 2001, Carisma won his first National Championship, 3 Year Old Performance Colts and Geldings owned at that time by Denise Van Ness.

In 2002, A Cappella's Carisma won Reserve National Champion 4 Year Old Performance Colts and Geldings and, by this time, had a large following of fans. One year later, at the age of 5, A Cappella's Carisma was 2003 Grand National Champion Performance Stallion and 2003 National Champion Performance Stallion and was owned by John Solomon IV. In 2004, Mr. Solomon won Reserve National Champion Amateur Owner Performance Stallions.

Carisma was bred selectively in the early years and very few outside breedings were allowed. He has numerous offspring and a sampling of those can be found on the Offspring page of this site. Currently, A Cappella's Carisma is owned by Henrietta and Robin Ratliff of Greener Pastures Ranch in Lamont, FL.
